Ales for the Trail brings together local and regional beer, cider, wine, and mocktails from around the Northwest to support the North Idaho Centennial Trail Foundation.
Enjoy over 60 beers and ciders, plus wine, mocktails, food trucks, live music, games, and raffle prizes — all set against the backdrop of one of the most beautiful city parks in North Idaho. You’ll meet and mingle with the brewers and reps themselves, and cast your vote for the People’s Choice Award.

Jip Skippy & The Unprepared
Jip Skippy and the Unprepared are a high energy blues/rock trio founded in the summer of 2016 by Greg & Brandon Meyer, along with a drummer and piano player. After some personnel shifts over the years, they are now made up of Brandon Meyer (lead vocals, lead guitar); Chuck Johnson (bass, backing vocals, lead vocals & sometimes drums; Greg Meyer (drums, backing vocals & sometimes bass).
Greg and Brandon are father and son and have been playing together, off & on, for over 10 years. Brandon, at the age of 16, joined Greg’s prior band as rhythm guitar and soon moved up to playing lead. Chuck started playing bass 14 years ago on a down-tuned guitar until he was able to buy a bass. He joined the band in 2023 and has been a pivotal part of the band since their first show together.
Between the three of them they have over 65 years of musical experience!

JamShack Band
JamShack is a high-energy regional band anchored by a deep family legacy and seasoned Pacific Northwest talent. The current five-piece lineup features Jimi Rockin’ (lead vocals, drums); his father, PJ Destiny (keyboards, guitars, vocals); Jimi’s daughter, Mahalia Jade Loucks (vocals); Joe Welk (bass, vocals); and Justyn “Leroy” Priest (lead guitar, vocals).
Jimi and PJ represent the core of a four-generation musical family, with Jimi pulling double duty on vocals and drums while PJ brings 45 years of experience playing keys and guitar simultaneously. Joe joined the groove in 2012 as a versatile multi-instrumentalist, Mahalia stepped in during 2024 to add soulful harmonies, and local standout Justyn completes the sound with some of the best lead guitar work in the region.
Together, this talented crew brings over 100 years of combined musical experience to every stage they hit!
